yay went to watch The Happening at some place with some friends..
So nice omg! much better than Po the Kung-fu-panda-who-cant-beat-the-tigress-but-can-beat-the-evil-guy.
Apparently this story of The Happening is about some weird toxin that is an act of nature, ( blamed on the terrorists in the beginning. as usual) which causes ppl to start killing themselves. IT IS TOTALLY LIKE A RIPOFF OFF CELL BY STEPHEN KING!
ppl start going crazy, walking backwards, talking "calculus" and then killing themselves with any random way ( from knocking the head on the wall and the window, to turning on the grasscutter and lying in its path )..from construction workers jumping off the buildings, to army personnel shouting "my firearm is my friend. it will not leave my side!" and commiting suicide. The tense atmosphere is there, the music effects are okay, and theres a "Wow" factor there.
but it just felt too weird. imagine if we get this virus in our world. Seeing your best friend killing herself right in front of you. Seeing your teacher jumping off the building ( that might be good ), and finally feeling you lose all sense of inhibition and following the same path.
How weird. Would you even feel a thing?
