i finally found some time to update...so let's briefly summarize the whole week: Homework, homework..and more homework. Sec 4 life sucks. screw all the teachers that seem to hate me. "The film, on its opening weekend, took first place at the Japanese box office, with some 236,158 spending 280 million yen (about US $2.4 million) to watch it. This income can be considered unusual, considering the film was played at only 84 theaters in the country. [3] The film's official news feed at Bandai Channel reported full houses and an applause from the fans at the film's theatrical premiere on September 1, 2007,[4]. In South Korea, Evangelion 1.0 was released on January 24, 2008. In Singapore, Evangelion 1.0 was released on March 13, 2008 . However at one of Singapore forum on ACG culture, http://sgcafe.com, few of the anime fans expressed that the trailer for the next film was omitted from the film. Many anime fans waiting for the trailer after the credits rolled, did not catch it in the end. Evangelion 1.0 will be released in Hong Kong on April 3, 2008.
anyway we enjoyed our founder's day yesterday with a freaking 3 hours in the jc auditorium with 陈狗 standing behind - meaning we can't do anything. not sleep. not do homework. not listen to mp3. not anything except sitting there and rot. - while looking at everyone getting prizes. *yawns*
After that met up with yubin and yinn jiunn to go to coro and eat the usual - golden rooster. lemon chicken. etc etc - plus 2 onigiris that i bought at ntuc.
after that we went to cathay to watch the first of the Rebuild of Evangelion tetralogy: Evangelion 1.0: You are (Not) Alone.
Great anime movie! even though i never watched the original anime, i enjoyed this show as it is packed with deep ideas and great action. it really leads you to think unlike other mechas shows which focuses more on the action.
From wikipedia
you all should watch it. its really good ^^
Btw. i was one of the few taht stayed to watch the trailer. AND IT GOT CUT! DAMN YOU!
after taht we went to watch a highly abstract dance show forced onto me by dear Hwachong institution called 1000 camels. it is a highly confusing show with no apparent storyline or characters and seem to try to tell me that the dancers are from The Jungle Book.
and i counted 42 camels.
utter waste of 14dollars. they should have told us to go to watch evangelion instead >.>
On a side note, more anime coming in april! highly anticipated ones are haruhi suzumiya season 2, code geass season 2, and other new animes coming up!
gotta watch them all, anime!
Thanks to all the blogs i referred to (countless) for html code help :) (esp. cyn' and sixseven)
